Well, what a great year at the local agricultural shows. We attended our first Cumberland Show down in Carlisle in June and it was a great success. Although the heavens opened, it did not dampen our spirits and we were really proud to be awarded ‘Best Trade Stand’. It was a great opportunity to meet our customers, south of the border.
On Thursday 2nd August we also attended our first Stewartry Show. Since opening our new Concrete plant at Dalbeattie in January 2017 we have welcomed a lot of new customers to the west, so this was a great opportunity to meet people and let them know about the full services that we provide.
And lastly, on Saturday 4th August, we pitched at Dumfries & Lockerbie Show. The team were on a high as Robbie and his daughter Kyla won the Sheep Interbreed with their Blue Texels, and we were awarded second place for ‘Best Trade Stand’. Again it was great to meet many of our customers as its always nice to put a face to a name.
Its definitely something we look forward to doing in 2019.
